How to find Magheroarty pier and Bunbeg Harbour for Tory Island Ferry
Magheroarty (Machaire Rabhartaigh) is in the parish of Cloughaneely (Cloich Cheann Fhaola) in the heart of the Donegal Gaeltacht. It is located in the north west of the county. From Letterkenny follow signs for Dungloe and keep on the N56 heading west until you have passed through the village of Gortahork (Gort a' Choirce). Now bear right to keep along the coast road. After about 2 miles you will see a small road leading down to the pier where you catch the Tory Island Ferry. There are offices there where you can purchase your ticket and the Bia Cois Farraige where you can enjoy a bite to eat.

Bunbeg (An Bun Beag) is a townland within the parish of Gweedore (Gaoth Dobhair). From Letterkenny follow signs initially for Dungloe but after passing through Kilmacrennan take a left turn marked for Glenveagh National Park (Páirce Náisiúnta Gleann Béigh) and Gweedore. After passing by Errigal mountain and through Dunlewey (Dún Lúiche) you will reach a T junction with the N56. Turn left to continue heading west. Shortly after passing An Chuirt Hotel on your right you will see a road to the right for Bunbeg. Take this road and at the end of the road you will reach a crossroads. Continue straight ahead for Bunbeg Harbour.
